Thanks to everybody that attended and helped make this Tea Party a success. Linda, Faye, Fred, Marty, Loretta, Charlie, Ken and everyone else you all did a fantastic job and the speakers were excellent. God bless you all, and keep fighting, we're making a difference!!!
As Tea Party Patriots, we remain independent of party affiliation. We do not endorse or accept money from any political party. We believe the two party system is broken and it is time to hear new ideas from Americans not entrenched in the status quo. It will be our mission to educate voters about issues as well as alternative choices at our tea parties and other events. We look forward to having representatives from various groups and parties at each tea party we hold.

The trip to Washington was AWESOME!!! Police at the rally estimated 2.6 million patriotic Americans showed up for the event. The Metro Rail was shut down and the streets coming into the city were shut down as well. There were no incidents with Acorn that I personally witnessed and the atmosphere between the protestors was more like a church picnic than a rally of "Angry Mobsters". People were courteous and friendly and despite all of the media's representation of the "Angry Mobsters", this was the most friendly group of people I have ever had the privilege of standing shoulder to shoulder with. These were real Americans from every walk of life who truly care about their country, that dug deep into their pockets to make this trip. Some flew, some rode on busses and some drove themselves or groups of people. There were senior citizens, little children, people of every color and ethnic background under the sun to express their love for their country and their commitment to see real change in this nation's government.
There were absolutely wonderful displays of artistic and humorous gifts presented in some of the signs and images that people carried.
God and Jesus Christ were well represented at this rally, not only in the signs and images that people brought, that demanded God and morality be brought back into government and schools, but also in the way that people treated one another.
All in all, this has given me a newfound faith in God, humanity and the American dream. It was a day that I will never forget, and that I wouldn't have missed for the world.
